18 Emery-Roller Rice Whitener (1.0–1.5 t/h)
1/4

18 Emery-Roller Rice Whitener (1.0–1.5 t/h)

High-efficiency emery whitening with strong air-assist for cooler operation and even surface quality. Brown rice moves from the hopper into the whitening chamber and advances along the emery roller. A high-pressure air jet through the hollow main shaft creates a vortex that flips kernels, allowing controlled abrasion against the emery surface and rice knife. The airflow carries bran out of the chamber, helping keep temperatures low and finishes clean.

What it does

• Uniform bran removal with adjustable roller/knife clearances

• Air-assist cooling and bran extraction for clean, bright rice

• Vortex action for even whitening and reduced over-milling

• Stable, predictable output for downstream polishing and grading

Why mills choose it

• Protects yield and lowers broken rice

• Consistent finish across different grain types

• Compact footprint with easy access for maintenance

• Straightforward wear-part changeouts to minimize downtime

Technical specifications

• Capacity: 1,000–1,500 kg/h (1.0–1.5 t/h)

• Power: 22–30 kW

• Dimensions (L×W×H): 1130 × 500 × 1380 mm

• Weight: approx. 250 kg

• Voltage/Frequency: configured per region (e.g., 380/415 V, 50/60 Hz)

Recommended Applications

Use after paddy–brown separation as the primary/secondary whitening stage before polishing. Ideal for mills targeting a bright, even finish with low broken rice and stable throughput.

Service and Warranty

Standard 12-month warranty after shipment (consumables excluded). Starlight provides training, remote diagnostics, spare-parts planning, and on-site service by arrangement to ensure reliable commissioning and long-term performance.

Emery whitening with strong air-assist for cooler, cleaner output

High-pressure airflow through the hollow main shaft carries bran out and stabilizes chamber temperature to prevent glazing and discoloration.

Adjustable knife/roller clearances for multiple grain types

Micrometer-style settings with reference scale let you tune pressure and gap for japonica, indica, parboiled, and basmati—repeatable from batch to batch.

Stable feed and finish for downstream polishing and grading

Balanced feed cone and controlled discharge deliver a consistent stream to the polisher, reducing rework and protecting yield.

Vortex kernel flipping for uniform abrasion and low breakage

Aerodynamic vortex rotates kernels for 360° contact with the emery and rice knife, achieving even whiteness at lower pressure.

Compact footprint with quick-access panels for maintenance

Large service doors and simple fasteners make sieve/knife checks, roller inspection, and cleaning fast between shifts.

Bran extraction & dust-control ready

Standard aspiration flange connects to cyclone/ducting to keep the workspace cleaner, limit cross-contamination, and improve final color.

Pre-Clean + De-Stone, Together

Rotary drum removes large/fine impurities; the gravity deck ejects stones by density—cleaner input and safer downstream milling. Capacity 1.5–2.0 t/h.
