18 Emery-Roll Rice Mill (Output 1.5–2.5 t/h)

The 18 emery-roll rice mill uses a high-speed emery roller to uniformly abrade the bran layer and deliver bright, smooth white rice with a high head-rice rate. Single-machine throughput reaches 1.5–2.5 t/h with low breakage and excellent consistency. It can run stand-alone or in series on medium–large milling lines. Different grit rollers and aspiration settings can be selected to balance yield, finish, and temperature.

Overview
  • High-efficiency sand-roller milling delivers even whitening and high head-rice rate.
  • Smooth feeding and stable spindle reduce breakage while maintaining high throughput.
  • Compact footprint (1130 × 500 × 1380 mm), low noise, and steady operation suit retrofit lines.
  • Easy maintenance with quick access to chamber, belts, and bearings; straightforward roller change.
  • 22 kW power pairing for consistent industrial duty.
  • Versatile use in multi-pass lines; can also handle grain skin-removal tasks (e.g., corn/wheat) when properly configured.
Why Choose It
  • High, stable throughput – Large infeed and strong aspiration enable continuous operation and clean product flow.

  • Premium finish – Even cutting plus timely bran removal reduces re-friction and heat for brighter kernels.
  • Low breakage – Adjustable back-pressure, clearance, air volume, and feed rate control stress and temperature.
  • Compact footprint – Tight frame (1130×500×1380 mm) fits easily into existing layouts.
  • Easy maintenance – Bearing seats, belts, and roller change ports are service-friendly.
  • Multi-grain option* – With suitable rollers and process settings, can be used for surface de-branning of corn/wheat.

    * Actual compatibility depends on raw grain and target effect; run a trial to confirm.

Recommended Applications

Ideal for medium–large rice mills and contract processors upgrading the whitening stage. Works as a stand-alone whitener after husking/segregation or in multi-pass lines with graders, polishers, and color sorters to lift head-rice yield and finish on long-, medium-, and short-grain varieties.

Service and Warranty

12-month warranty from shipment (consumables excluded). We provide remote commissioning support, operator training, maintenance schedules, and fast genuine-parts supply; on-site service can be arranged when required. Routine care includes chamber/duct cleaning, belt and bearing checks, and periodic roller replacement to keep brightness and yield stable.

High-capacity emery milling

Large-diameter roller with optimized chamber provides sufficient dwell time for 1.5–2.5 t/h continuous output.

Uniform whitening & bright color

Stable cutting and immediate bran extraction lower heat build-up and deliver a glossy, even finish.

Rugged, maintenance-friendly frame

Wide service doors and accessible wear parts shorten planned stoppages.

Controlled low breakage

Fine control of back-pressure, clearance, airflow, and feed rate maintains head-rice yield across varieties.

Fast, repeatable setup

Indexed scales on key adjustments (gap/pressure/air) let operators reproduce settings quickly.

Rugged, maintenance-friendly frame

Wide service doors and accessible wear parts shorten planned stoppages.

Multi-grain flexibility (when required)

With grit and settings changed, the unit can handle light de-branning/refurbishing of other cereals.

How It Works

Quick-Service Access

Aspiration & bran removal

Negative pressure removes fines and heat, improving brightness and head-rice rate.

Installation & Service

Product Configuration

Component Function Qty Notes
Infeed hopper Grain entry 1 Interfaces with upstream conveyor
Emery-roll chamber Whitening / de-branning 1 Grit size selectable
Main spindle set Drives emery roll 1 set Low vibration
Aspiration/bran removal Extracts bran & heat 1
Discharge outlet White rice outfeed 1 Connects to grader/color sorter
Electrical control Start/stop & protection 1 set Overload/phase protection

Installation & Maintenance Notes

Place the machine on a level, solid floor, leaving clearance around service doors and discharge. Connect to a suitable aspiration/ducting system and stable power (22 kW). During installation, level the frame, align the spindle, check belt tension, guards, fasteners, rotation direction, and airflow.

Commission “no-load → light feed → rated feed,” then trim back-pressure, gap, airflow, and feed rate to reach the target brightness and head-rice rate; watch temperature and current to avoid overload or hot spots.

For routine care, clean the milling chamber and ducts, check seals and bearings, track emery roll wear and belt tension, tighten hardware, and lubricate per schedule. After shutdown, isolate power and wait for a full stop before cleaning. Wear eye/ear protection and a dust mask when panels are open.
