Install the 14.5 Water-Mist Polisher on a level, ventilated floor with moisture protection and clearance around inspection doors and discharge points. Connect a clean, filtered water line (stable pressure), adequate drainage, and dust extraction to the polish chamber exhaust. Anchor the frame, align the infeed/outfeed to upstream and downstream equipment, and verify correct voltage/phase, grounding, motor rotation, belt tension, and that all guards and covers are in place.
Commission dry and in sequence: power → fan/aspiration → water-dosing unit (no spray) → main drive. Check spindle vibration and airflow at the ports, then start with a light flow of white rice and enable water dosing. Tune spray start/stop current, nozzle flow, and atomization, and adjust back-pressure, gate openings, and residence time to suit variety, moisture, and target gloss.
During operation keep feed steady, monitor amperage, product temperature, water consumption, and cyclone dust load, and clear any chokes immediately. Use only clean water; replace filters and flush nozzles if spray pattern degrades. After shutdown, isolate power and water, wait for the rotor to stop fully, then wash and dry the polishing chamber, ducts, and cyclone; clean or replace nozzle tips; inspect belts, seals, and bearings; grease per schedule and re-check fasteners and alignment. Always wear eye/ear protection and a dust mask when panels are open.
